The piece is originally from Jicalpextle, Oaxaca and is obtained from the seed that is planted with the corn at the beginning of the harvest, as the basic grain grows, so does the plant that produces the gourd. The jar is used to make jicalpextle, a piece painted with black and red lacquer, with mainly yellow, blue and pink flowers. Perfect for decorations, centerpieces and day of the dead altars.

Very delicate and will have imperfections including cracks. Random colors and patterns will be chosen.
